Carefully curated ingredients, imaginative Neapolitan cuisine and authentic Caprese tradition come together in Chef Lionetti’s unparalleled menu that is equal parts land and sea. The perfect setting for a romantic dinner, an invigorating lunch or a special occasion – you can expect the same excellent quality and service from the Le Monzù catering team as you do in the restaurant. Named after the title Neapolitan nobles gave their fancy French chefs in days gone by – essentially a bastardization of the word “monsieur” – Le Monzù, then and now, stands for the ideal combination of tradition, experimentation and quality.

Among Chef Lionetti’s signature dishes, a few particularly stand out: the amazing octopus ragù served on mezzipaccheri pasta; the “pasta mista” with a mix of no less than 14 different hand selected pasta shapes and served with blue lobster, potatoes and smoked provola from the Lattari Mountains; the anchovy and eggplant tartlet served with shavings of summer truffle; or fresh crumb-crusted snapper flavored with Capri’s indigenous herbs.

Location and view

“Monzù”– an Italianization of the French word “Monsieur” – was the name Neapolitan nobles gave their fancy French chefs during the period from the 13th to the 19th century. And it was the elegant palaces of those same families that inspired our luminous interiors.
Our large windows frame the deep blue sea of Capri, the celebrated Faraglioni rock formations and the lush vegetation clinging to the cliffs surrounding the bay, with a panoramic terrace to add to the allure – an ideal setting in which to savor Chef Luigi Lionetti’s flavorful dishes created in perfect harmony with the natural surroundings.
